Type B couplers are normally used with Type F adapters, but can be used with Type A and Type E adapters and Type DP (Dust Plug) of identical size. Product Description: ● The Type B is a Female Coupler x Male NPT Thread. How To Use: ● To connect, slide the Type B Coupler onto a Male Adapter and then simultaneously close the two cam handles. ● To disconnect, lift up the cam handles and uncouple the two fittings. To Install: ● Thread the Male NPT portion into a Female NPT Thread. Will Connect with: ● The coupler portion will couple with a Male Adapter. ● The thread will connect to a Female NPT Thread. (National Pipe Thread) Used for: ● Installing a Female Cam & Groove into a Female NPT Thread. ● Connecting with a Male Adapter of identical size. Sizes: ● This Aluminum Coupler is offered in sizes starting from 1/2" all the way up to 8".
