LOCTITE® 542 is a seal indicated for sealing and locking pipes and metallic connections, as well as other metallic cylindrical assemblies. The product cures when confined between metal surfaces and in the absence of air, prevents loosening and leakage caused by impacts and vibrations. The thixotropic nature of LOCTITE 542 reduces the migration of the liquid product after application to the part.
